Sleek and powerful design. The Evolis Dualys3 ID card printer's modern design and aesthetic curves hide an ultra-robust product. The Evolis Dualys3 has the ability to produce 125 full color, duplex cards/hour with precise image definition and quality. This is due to its state-of-the-art printhead modifications and Color Profile driver tool that help you fine tune your colors so that they look as crisp on your card as they do on-screen.

With its improved driver interface, the Evolis Dualys 3 ID card printer is as easy to install and operate as your desktop printer. The Print Manager driver tool along with the four-light LED display guide you swiftly through your print jobs via on-screen prompts and notifications. In addition, the Evolis Dualys 3 features a clamshell opening that allows easy and fast access to all printer functions, including ribbon installation and routine cleaning.

Additional Evolis Dualys 3 card feeder cartridges allow you to stock different card backgrounds and/or thicknesses - according to your needs - or to simply avoid stopping production by changing an empty feeder for a full one. A manual card feeder option is also available - providing the ability to print your cards one by one.

Cost effective technologies. The Evolis Dualys 3 ID card printer is equipped with ribbon saver technology for monochrome printing. With this system, you only use the ribbon length that corresponds to the length of the image to be printed. This feature allows you to double and even triple the capacity of your monochrome ribbons - reducing the cost of each card. A half panel color ribbon is also available, and when used properly, may be up to 42% less expensive than the standard color ribbon. It is the perfect solution to printing a color photograph or logo, and black text on a pre-printed card.

Flexible encoding options. The Evolis Dualys3 is flexible in the way that it provides options for creating feature-rich cards with the use of magnetic stripe and smart card technologies - any of which can be seamlessly combined. In addition, you can add Ethernet to operate your card application using multiple PC's on a shared network.

It also provides a data import/export feature and supports magnetic encoding.
